Woodland Pow Wow

These two  photos were shot by Bill Marcus, Saturday November 19th, on the front steps of "Chez Marcus" in Woodland.  Left to right are:  Reid Dabney, Leslie, Anne Gritzer, and Bob Nelson.  Bob is wearing a French beret in deference to francophilia, and is holding a pair of Daffodil bulbs for spring blooming, a wonderful gift of new life from Leslie and Bill.  Piedmont High School classmates Reid, Anne, and Bob journeyed from the East Bay for a short visit with Leslie, which happily lasted longer than planned!  :-)

  1. It was a delight to sit at my kitchen table with high school pals, eating sandwiches from Piedmont's own Mulberry Market, and laughing & visiting until I had to fall into a nap. I think we are all so blessed to have life-long pals. Most of my non-Piedmont friends don't have nearly as many friends that they've known as long we've all known each other -- I mean, really, how many of your non-Piedmont pals have at least 20 friends of 40 years' standing or more? Unusual, to be sure, and a big blessing!
